Ekho, uses iBeacon technology to empower curators of galleries, museums and other forms of tourist sites to create fully immersive multimedia experiences that engage visitors through navigation, narration and access to additional content. Furthermore, we collect and provide data on visitor behaviour and satisfaction ratings to fuel their marketing efforts.
EQUINE MEDIRECORD
Equine MediRecord develops, sells and maintains a mobile application and website to allow proper recording of medicines administered to racehorses and other bloodstock. This is the first application of its type. We aim to provide this digital service throughout Ireland before expanding into Europe and worldwide.
FRANC
FRANC was founded in 2015 to provide a view of fashion that is both intelligent and accessible. Briony Somers, having worked both as a model and in the design studios with designers such as Simone Rocha and Vivienne Westwood, felt her perspective of fashion underserved. FRANC’s first issue received immediate success selling out in two weeks and received industry support prompting a redesign and expansion for the second issue.

Lexi is an online platform that teaches non native English speakers job specific vocabulary. Our courses are generated by a machine learning algorithm which ensures our users are learning the most relevant and up to date vocabulary. Our goal is to find our users the job they deserve or help them progress their career.
SYZE
Syze is an in-store and online service provider allowing clothing brands to accurately measure customers sizes. Through photo recognition and machine learning, Syze aims to reduce consumer anxiety and costly returns, whilst creating a more personalised shopping experience.
MARSH SISTERS
Marsh Sisters creates high end, hand crafted luxe marshmallows, set up by Christine & Bridget Butler. "We love all things sweet and have grown up baking together. After years of making marshmallows as gifts we decided to package them up and go to market so we could share them and others could enjoy them too. Our marshmallows are gluten and dairy free. They come in a variety of flavours that we are constantly updating. They are free from all artificial sweeteners and colours."
WYNK
Wynk is a mobile dating app that finds you things to do and people to do them with. Founded by John Christopher and Darragh Mc Kay. John is a Film and Broadcasting student in DIT and is responsible for sales and marketing. Darragh is the software developer on the team. He has designed and developed the Android & iOS App. A Computer Engineering student with an extensive background in both App Development and Design.
TICKETCHAIN
TicketChain specialises in digital tickets, providing services for ticket vendors, organisers, tourist attractions and venues. We have developed a technology that enables secure, traceable digital event tickets to be deployed directly to mobile devices. This approach allows ticket vendors to not only issue digital tickets but also enable secure and controlled ticket resale thus enabling them to address issues such as ticket touting and fraud.
